Fresh Made Media (FMM) is a new Belfast based visual communications studio specialising in the design and development of bespoke cutting edge digital content. We develop and design digital interactive content such as websites, online video, flash environments, interactive presentations, content management systems, eCommerce platforms and more. I setup this company in mid 2009 with my friend and colleague Ryan Forsythe. We are currently working on new projects for the Belfast Harbour Commissioners and Axisthree.

I setup CiaranMurray.com in Nov 2007 to showcase my freelance portfolio. Although now working under the banner of Fresh Made Media, I still maintain and update this site, as many of the projects I personally undertake are done as an outsourced solution to which Fresh Made Media cannot always be given credit for.

Totalamber are one of Europe's fastest growing software consultancy groups, specialising in the provision of services into the enterprise application market. I worked at Totalamber as a their Web Development Manager and was responsible for the creation and implementation of all the companies online systems and the development of a substancial new website.

Technical Manager - GetTogether.at

GetTogether was founded in 2005 out of a project I undertook during my Masters degree at Magee college. It is a fully functioning entertainment guide and "what's on" portal for the nightlife industry in the North-west of Ireland. At its peak GetTogether had over 50+ paying clients, who used the service to market their venues and events. A marked change in the landscape of printed media advertising locally had a negative impact on the business, but we remain proud of the great work that was done in such a short time in a difficult market. I was a co-founder of this business and worked as the Technical Manager, a role which required a mixture of hands-on development and management skills to create the extensive events management platform for the website.

Freelance Developer - Mindparity

Mindparity is a collective of creative and technical freelancers who converge to create and develop web based solutions for clients without the traditional overheads of a "studio" environment. It focuses on talent, ability to work remotely and the power of the internet to enable teams to collaborate from anywhere. Mindparity undertakes web projects for business clients around Northern Ireland and beyond. I work as the lead freelance developer for Mindparity, and am responsible for developing the functionality and interactivity of the online systems we create. Mindparity is a freelance endeavour which has been running in parallel to my periods of employment, allowing me to work in my own/spare time for private clients.

Multimedia Developer - Axisthree

Belfast based Axisthree are one of the world's pioneers of 3D scanning technology. I joined the company at a time when the company was transitioning from being a traditional "new media studio" into a specialist in emerging 3D technology. I was responsible for all the web and multimedia collateral for the company at that time, aswell as liasing with clients to work on their web products and services. During my time here, I created websites, games, interactive cd-roms, educational tools, 3D product showcases and more.

Online Developer - Dion Software

June 2001 - June 2002

Dion-Software, based in Vienna, Austria, were a games development studio who specialised in the creation of titles for the PC, Photoplay and Gameboy Advance markets. I worked there as an "Online Developer", creating the company's new website, a variety of online games (in Flash and Shockwave) and taking part in the company "Game Design Panel". I worked for Dion for 1 year during my University placement year, a time which I enjoyed greatly and earned valuable experience. Dion-software are now part of the FunWorld group, based in Lenzing, Austria.
